Booby Traps offers classes at our Elanora Heights outlet on
Sydney's Northern Beaches. Bookings must be made if you would like to attend one
of our classes. Please see the Workshop
Schedule for currently scheduled classes. Free parking is available.
Students are required to bring their own sewing machines. If
this is not possible please phone so we can make other arrangements.
Tea and Coffee will be provided. Students to bring their own
lunch.
10% discount offered on sales on the day of class, except on
goods already discounted, or goods sold by weight.
Classes are limited to a maximum of 8 students. All classes
must be paid for in advance. Your space in the class will not be confirmed
until payment (or 50% deposit) has been received.
We retain the right to cancel a class if the required number
of students is not met. In this instance as much notice as possible will be
given and fees may be transferred to another class of your choice. We would
appreciate notice in advance (at least a week, if possible) if you are
unable to attend.
All Saturday workshops are Bra Making. Weekday classes allow
students to make a garment of choice (bra, knickers, camisole, chemise etc.)
and may choose to come for the morning only or full day.
All workshops begin at 10am until 12:30pm (morning only) or
4:30pm (full day).
Class fees: half day
$45.00, full day $80.00, plus kits etc.
Visit Booby Traps
As we are a factory outlet and not a shop, it is your
opportunity to buy goods at factory prices. Kits, fabrics, elastics etc. all
available for sale - and you are welcome to rummage through the remnants.
It is possible to visit at various times, however it is best to
make an appointment. Never arrive without a phone call first or your visit may
be in vain - we are not always here.
This is a great fun day for everyone. This is not a
'copy-your-bra' class, we use a commercial pattern and adjust to fit. The first
bra is not always perfect (bra fitting is very individual)- but we come close.
We ask that you wear your best fitting bra to class as we will be helping with
fit. Techniques include attaching elastic and lace.
Knickers (Half or Full Day)
Select from the 4 styles on the Booby Traps pattern. Choose from
poly-cotton, lightweight lycra, elastane (control briefs) or allover stretch
lace. This is a fun day and a good introduction to lingerie making for the
beginner.
Camisole or Chemise (Half or Full
Day)
Practical or Sensual ?
The Camisole or Chemise class is for the very beginner to the advanced.
Create a practical piece of lingerie using techniques such as; stretch sewing,
lace application to knit fabrics, mitre lace rouleau and elastic application.

This time is for those that have already mastered their first bra. Tips and
hints on support, finishing's and adaptations. Get the most out of your pattern,
fabric and most importantly your bras. View any new kits, fabrics, notions and
any other new products.
This day is for group visits, Enjoy an
informative and social event. (by appointment)
